Brothers Jake and Dax Hall Commit to UNM
Jake Hall and his brother Dax have announced that they will wear the University of New Mexico’s colors together next season, turning a family bond into a on‑court partnership.
The twins, raised in Carlsbad, California, grew up shooting hoops in their backyard and dreaming of college glory, a narrative that has now materialized with both committing to the Lobos.
A Shared Vision
Jake’s freshman campaign was nothing short of historic; he averaged 16.4 points and 3.2 rebounds, earned Freshman of the Year honors, and set multiple school records, positioning him as a cornerstone for the program.
Dax, meanwhile, capped his high school career at Santa Fe Christian with a spectacular senior season, posting 27 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game, a performance that caught the eye of UNM coaches within a day of Jake’s announcement.
Both brothers say they view each other as their best friends, a camaraderie they expect to translate into seamless chemistry on the hardwood.
