Brown University announced that five of its baseball players have been selected for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, a distinction that underscores both athletic performance and scholarly achievement.
Among the honorees, senior Mark Henshon secured the accolade for the third consecutive year, while sophomore DJ Dillehay earned it for the second straight season. Junior Dylan Reid has now advanced to the national ballot for the Academic All-America award, with the final list to be released on June 23.
The group’s recognition places Brown in a tie with Harvard and Yale for the most selections in the Ivy League this year, reflecting the conference’s strong emphasis on balancing rigorous academics with competitive sports.
