A Homecoming for a Rising Star
Quinshon Judkins, a current Cleveland Browns running back and former Ohio State National Champion, returned to his hometown of Pike Road to run a free youth football camp for roughly one hundred children aged six to fourteen.
The event took place at Pike Road High School, where Judkins worked alongside the school's coaching staff and players to deliver positional drills and one‑on‑one competitions.
Beyond football fundamentals, Judkins used the platform to promote mental wellness and youth empowerment through his HumanFirst Foundation, an organization that provides counseling and support services.
During the camp, Judkins stressed the importance of having fun while highlighting how sports can positively shape community bonds and personal growth.
Looking ahead, he announced plans to return next year and hinted at bringing a quarterback to further enrich the experience for the participants.
The camp also celebrated a recent state championship achieved by Pike Road High School in 2021, underscoring the town's growing football legacy.
