Bruno Imarenakhue Joins Siena Men’s Soccer, Bolstering Historic Program

The Belgian forward aims to contribute to the Saints' rising profile as they chase new milestones

A Fresh Face for the Saints

Siena College announced the addition of forward Bruno Imarenakhue to its 2026 men's soccer roster, a move that deepens the team's attacking options as the program builds on a breakthrough season that included its first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Born in Boom, Belgium, Imarenakhue honed his craft with SK Beveren U21, where he served as team captain during the 2019‑20 and 2022‑23 campaigns and helped the side capture league titles in 2020‑21 and 2024‑25. He finished as the club's leading scorer in each of those seasons, a testament to his knack for finding the net.

After completing his development in Belgium, he spent a year at the University of Vermont, appearing in nine matches for the Catamounts and registering two shots during the 2025 campaign.

Coach Graciano Brito praised the newcomer's blend of experience and talent, noting that Imarenakhue's professionalism and work ethic are expected to influence the squad both on the pitch and in the locker room.

Looking Ahead

With the new forward now part of the mix, the coaching staff believes the team can translate its early successes into sustained competitiveness, aiming to contend for further conference titles and deeper tournament runs.
