Bryant University’s field hockey team released its 2026 schedule on Tuesday, outlining a 17‑game campaign that blends non‑conference road trips with a robust home presence at Steven '69 and Lily Cowen Field.
A historic home slate
The Bulldogs will open their season on the road with matches at Quinnipiac and Hofstra before returning to Rhode Island for their first two home games against Merrimack and Providence on September 4 and 6. A marquee series against Boston University arrives on September 18, marking the program’s first ever meeting with the Terriers.
Coach Kellie Joyce, now in her second year, will lean on a core group that includes 18 returning players from the 2025 roster, among them point‑scorers Callie Caito and Megan Smith, as well as the experienced goaltending duo of Sara DeSousa and Maud van Lierop.
October brings a flurry of America East contests, beginning with a showdown at UMass Lowell on October 2, followed by home games against Brown on October 4 and Maine on October 16. The schedule also features a three‑game homestand against Towson, starting with the program’s inaugural meeting on October 11.
The regular season will close on October 29 with a home game against New Hampshire, and the team will finish the month with a road trip to Vermont and Dartmouth before the 2026 America East Field Hockey Championships begin on November 1.
