A Community Vote for Coaching Excellence
The Bucks County sports desk has launched a public poll to crown the area’s most outstanding high school football head coach for the 2026 season. Residents are encouraged to cast their ballots online, with voting remaining open until Tuesday, July 7, at 8 p.m.
As of the latest tally, Council Rock South’s Gavin Sailer holds the lead with 30.2 percent of the votes, positioning him ahead of Lansdale Catholic’s Terrance Smith, who trails with 22 percent. The competition reflects a deep pool of talent across the county, each coach having guided their teams through a demanding schedule.
Organizers stress the importance of fair play, urging participants to vote as often as they wish while strictly prohibiting any form of manipulation. Detecting bot activity or other cheating mechanisms will result in immediate removal of the offending athlete and possibly their teammates from the poll.
Beyond the numbers, the poll serves as a celebration of local coaching excellence and the athletes who benefit from their leadership. Community members are reminded that their voices help shape recognition for the mentors who shape the next generation of players.
With the deadline approaching, the call to action is clear: head to the voting portal, select your preferred coach, and help ensure a transparent and fair outcome that honors the hard work of Bucks County’s football leaders.
