The Aggies entered the bracket as a 10‑seed and opened with a victory over seventh‑seeded Saint Mary’s before bowing to second‑seeded Houston in the Round of 32. The win underscored the effectiveness of McMillan’s trademark “Bucky Ball” style, which emphasizes pace, spacing and aggressive defense.
