A season of celebration
The Buffalo Sabres have released their 2026‑27 theme‑night schedule, a 17‑event lineup that weaves together hockey, holidays and local community celebrations.
Among the new offerings is Disco Night, a music‑themed evening that invites fans to dress in glittering attire, while Oktoberfest brings a Sabres Stein to ticket holders on October 8.
Special giveaways punctuate the season, from a 2025‑26 Atlantic Division Champions Mini Banner at the Home Opener on October 3 to a Hockey Fights Cancer Scarf on November 6, a Sabres Stein on Oktoberfest, and a Sabretooth Sock giveaway during Mascot Madness in March.
Fans can also purchase Family Packs, which bundle four tickets with four hot dogs, four bags of chips and four drinks, and a limited 10‑game plan grants playoff priority to subscribers.
The schedule highlights heritage and awareness nights, including Native American Heritage Night on December 10, Mental Health Awareness Night on January 12, and Pride Night on March 9, each designed to honor distinct communities within Western New York.
Hall of Fame Night on January 14 will induct Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek, accompanied by a commemorative pennant, while Rasmus Dahlin Bobblehead Night on March 2 will distribute a collectible bobblehead of the Sabres captain.
Additional highlights feature Military Appreciation Night against Tampa Bay on November 11, Thanksgiving Eve giveaways of Sabres Salt and Pepper Shakers, and a Kids Takeover game against the New York Rangers on March 6, complete with plush keychains for the first 5,000 children.
The season wraps up with Fan Appreciation Night on April 10, where attendees receive a Team Flag, underscoring the organization’s gratitude to its supporters.
