McPherson College's Bulldogs opened their home schedule under a new lighting system at Brubaker Family Stadium, defeating Hesston College 3-0 in a dominant display that followed an 8-0 road win over Spurgeon College earlier in the week.
A Bright Start
The scoring opened early, with Arianna Diaz finding the net in the eighth minute after a pass from Alexis Lutz, setting the tone for the match.
Diaz struck again in the 56th minute, extending the lead to 2-0, before Gracie Speltz sealed the victory with a third goal in the 71st minute, again assisted by Lutz.
Emily Singletary stood firm between the posts, preserving a clean sheet as the Bulldogs' defense limited Hesston to few clear chances.
Looking Ahead
The Bulldogs will next travel to Crete, Nebraska, to face Doane University on August 29th at 1:00 PM, aiming to extend their winning streak.
