Defensive Honors Multiply for Bulldogs

The American Baseball Coaches Association has unveiled the 2026 ABCA NCAA Division III All‑Region IV defensive team, spotlighting three members of the Bulldogs roster for their outstanding performances.

Senior second baseman John Rorick earned his spot after completing a flawless season at the position, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage with 161 chances, 75 putouts and 86 assists.

Outfielder JT Anderosky also secured a place on the team, finishing with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage after handling 144 chances, making 139 putouts and recording five assists. His defensive excellence was further acknowledged when he was named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year for center field.

Pitcher Mike Hooker rounded out the trio, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage over 82 ⅔ innings and contributing eight assists with a single putout.

Rorick and Anderosky added another layer of distinction by each receiving a national Gold Glove, a prestigious award that highlights their defensive mastery on a national scale.

The recognition marks a doubling of Bulldogs represented on the defensive teams, echoing previous selections such as Derek Moyer in 2010 and Colin Trembley in 2023, while Anderosky had previously earned the honor in 2025.
