A New Era for Bozeman Basketball
Cade Meyer, a longtime assistant and former JV mentor, has been elevated to head coach of the Bozeman High School boys basketball team after a season that saw the Bucks finish 9‑16. The promotion comes as the program looks to rebuild following the graduation of five senior starters.
Meyer, who hails from northern Alabama and grew up with a father who has coached for more than three decades, says his priority extends beyond X's and O's. He wants each player to leave the program as a better person as well as a better athlete, a philosophy shaped by his own family's long‑standing commitment to the game.
The Bucks are currently in the thick of summer practice, using the downtime to instill new systems and build chemistry. With a fresh roster and a clear vision, Meyer is hopeful that the work done now will translate into a more competitive season ahead.
