Caden Kitler, a redshirt senior center for the Arkansas Razorbacks, is gearing up for what he expects to be his final season of college football in 2026. After starting every game on the offensive line a year ago, Kitler has become a cornerstone of the team’s front five, helping the Razorbacks’ offense eclipse the 500‑yard mark on six occasions and boosting their rushing production by 119 yards per game.
Embracing a New Coaching Era
Under the guidance of a fresh coaching staff, Kitler has fully embraced the changes introduced during spring ball. He has added weight in the offseason to better engage with SEC defenders, a move he says will help him anchor the line more effectively.
The Razorbacks’ line also welcomes two experienced transfers, Malachi Breland and Bryant Williams, who bring a wealth of playing time to the unit. Their presence, combined with Kitler’s leadership, is intended to solidify a line that allowed only 29 sacks last season — the fewest since 2019 — and went two games without surrendering a sack.
Offensive line coach Marcus Johnson has highlighted Breland’s communication skills, noting that the new pieces are already clicking in practice. While the line appears poised, Kitler stresses that productivity will ultimately depend on the skill position players stepping up and sustaining the offense’s momentum.
As the team moves toward the 2026 campaign, the blend of veteran experience and fresh talent positions Arkansas to build a more consistent ground game. Kitler’s final college chapter is not just about personal milestones; it is about laying a foundation for the Razorbacks’ future success.
