The inaugural Caesars Lake Tahoe Classic will make its debut on November 8, 2026 at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, bringing together eight Division I programs for a day of high‑profile matchups.
Four marquee games are set to feature a mix of traditional powerhouses and rising contenders, with pairings such as USC versus Wichita State and Nevada taking on Saint Mary’s, while Houston meets California and the California Women’s Basketball team faces San Francisco Women’s Basketball.
Fans can purchase tickets for individual sessions or opt for a discounted two‑session package, with premium seating, suites and exclusive hospitality experiences available to enhance the game‑day atmosphere.
The event is being organized by Total Sports Consulting in partnership with Caesars Entertainment, with additional support from the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority and the Tahoe Blue Event Center, aiming to create a first‑class experience for teams, athletes and the local community.
Key returning players include USC’s Joseph Tugler and Houston’s Arafan Diané, the nation’s top‑ranked center for the second straight season, while the San Francisco Women’s Basketball roster boasts an international mix of athletes from France, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Taiwan, Slovakia, Italy and Poland.
Organizers envision the Classic as a catalyst for putting Lake Tahoe on the map as a premier destination for nationally televised college basketball, drawing alumni, supporters and sports enthusiasts from across the country.
