The California Golden Bears women's basketball program has released its nonconference schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a slate that blends home comforts with a rigorous travel agenda.
The Bears will hit the road for six contests away from Haas Pavilion, marking the most away games since the 2018‑19 campaign and underscoring the coaching staff's intent to test the team early.
The season opens on November 2 with a home matchup against Washington State, after which the team will stay in the Bay Area to face Long Beach State on November 5 before heading to San Francisco for a November 8 showdown with the University of San Francisco.
A highlight comes on November 12 when Charleston, the defending CAA Tournament champion, visits Berkeley for a single‑game homestand, followed by a trip to Santa Barbara on November 14 to meet UCSB.
Hawaii swing and the B.A.R. Invitational
The schedule then takes the Bears across the Pacific to Hawaii, where they will play two games — first against the host team on November 20 and then against Gonzaga on November 23 — before returning to Berkeley for the Raising The B.A.R. Invitational on November 27‑28.
After the tournament, Cal will travel to College Station to meet Texas A&M on December 3 as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge, then finish the nonconference stretch with road games at LMU on December 7, at Nebraska on December 20 in the Invisalign Bay Area Women's Classic, and finally a home game against Southern Utah on December 22.
