Caleb Bell, a 4‑star defensive end prospect out of Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, has quickly become a focal point of the Arkansas Razorbacks’ defensive plans.
A New Face in the Trenches
After arriving on campus as a redshirt freshman, Bell has been working closely with defensive line coach Landius Wilkerson, who has highlighted the player’s steady progress during spring drills.
Bell’s physical tools — standing 6‑foot‑3 and weighing 283 pounds — paired with a high‑school career that produced 19.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks, give him the look of a natural pass‑rusher.
He will likely share snaps with experienced players such as senior Quincy Rhodes, as well as reserves Xadavien Sims, a transfer from Oregon, and true freshman Colton Yarbrough, both of whom are expected to benefit from Bell’s presence.
The Razorbacks are aiming to improve on a 2025 season that yielded only 22 sacks, a figure that ranked near the bottom nationally, and Bell’s development could be pivotal in reaching that goal.
Off the field, Bell follows in the footsteps of his father, former Georgia linebacker Kendrell Bell, who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft, adding a family legacy to his rising profile.
