Caleb Ourigou, a four-star prospect from New York, announced his commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks on Tuesday, sending a ripple through the program’s recruiting landscape.
Standing 6-foot-10 and celebrated for his defensive instincts, athleticism and rebounding ability, Ourigou concluded his most recent season in the Overtime Elite League with averages of 12.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and two blocks per game, while shooting 62.5% from the field during the Nike EYBL Circuit in Memphis.
His recruitment journey included official visits to Kentucky, UConn, BYU and Arkansas, and the player hinted at a possible reclassification that would allow him to join the Razorbacks a year earlier, in the 2026-27 cycle.

Coach John Calipari welcomed the addition, emphasizing that the frontcourt will benefit from added depth as the team looks to offset the departure of several frontcourt stalwarts from last season’s three-man rotation.
