Cam Vaughn, a former wide receiver at West Virginia and Jacksonville State, found himself on the outside of the Miami Hurricanes program after a brief transfer that began in January 2024. Vaughn arrived in Coral Gables after a two‑year college career that produced 83 receptions for 1,344 yards and nine touchdowns. Miami’s offense will still be anchored by standout players Malachi Toney, Darian Mensah and Mark Fletcher, who are expected to drive the team’s aspirations of a top‑ten finish. Analysts project the Hurricanes as the No. 7 squad nationally for the 2026 season, positioning them as a contender in the ACC.
