MVP Honors
Tyler Smolinski of the Harwich Mariners captured the league’s Most Valuable Player award, known as the Pat Sorenti Award, after delivering a powerful offensive campaign. He ranked second in runs scored with 27 and second in hits with 42, while posting a .935 OPS, six home runs, and nine doubles across 37 games. His contributions helped the Mariners secure a postseason berth.
Scott Pickler earned the Mike Curran Award for Manager of the Year after guiding the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox to a league-best 28-11-1 record and the President’s Cup championship. Under his direction, the club combined strong pitching with a balanced lineup to dominate the schedule.
Championship Highlights
The Harwich Mariners were awarded the Paul Galop Commissioner’s Cup for exemplifying the highest standards of integrity and professionalism throughout the season. Meanwhile, the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox finished as regular‑season champions, posting a 57‑point total that underscored their consistency.
Pitching excellence was recognized through several specialized awards. Angel Cervantes of the Chatham Anglers received the BFC Whitehouse Outstanding Pitcher Award after posting a 1.05 ERA and a .82 WHIP, while Truitt Webb of the Hyannis Harbor Hawks captured the Russ Ford Outstanding Relief Pitcher Award with a 2.55 ERA and a .68 WHIP.
Prospects and Sportsmanship
Jacob Lee from the Brewster Whitecaps was honored with the Robert McNeese Outstanding Pro Prospect Award after batting .301 with seven home runs and 24 RBI. Andrew Costello of the Bourne Braves claimed the Thurman Munson Batting Champion Award with a .361 average, and Colin Larson of the Harwich Mariners earned the John J. Claffey Outstanding New England Player Award for his run‑scoring contributions.
The league also celebrated character and citizenship, presenting Dane Harvey of the Brewster Whitecaps with the Manny Robello 10th Player Award for exemplary conduct. Rob Rispoli of the Chatham Anglers received the Daniel J. Silva Sportsmanship Award, chosen by umpires for his fair play.
