The Cape Elizabeth girls soccer team finished the 2025‑26 campaign without a single defeat, sealing the Class B state championship and earning the distinction of Varsity Maine Girls Team of the Year.
At the heart of the historic run was senior forward Noelle Mallory, who netted 31 goals and collected multiple player‑of‑the‑year honors, while her younger sister Alexa Mallory, a freshman, added depth to the attack.
The squad’s offensive firepower was on full display, scoring at least two goals in each of its 18 games, finishing with 89 goals while allowing only seven, and earning five all‑Western Maine Conference selections.

A test of resilience came in the playoffs when the team edged Freeport in overtime before dominating previously unbeaten Hermon 30‑4 in the state final, outshot 30‑4 and showcasing a defensive masterclass.
