The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced that Carroll College’s men’s and women’s soccer squads have been honored with the Presidents’ Cup Academic Excellence designation for the 2025‑26 academic year, a tribute to their combined 3.55 grade point average and an 88 percent Academic All‑Conference rate.
The conference recognized eight member institutions for meeting the rigorous standard of a department‑wide GPA of at least 3.0, underscoring the growing emphasis on scholarly achievement alongside athletic competition.
Carroll’s teams stand out as the sole representatives of the conference’s affiliate membership, and they posted a record‑setting 36 Academic All‑Conference selections, marking the program’s most successful academic campaign to date.
The Athletic Department’s cumulative GPA reached a historic 3.53 this semester, with the men’s squad posting a 3.58 spring GPA and the women’s squad a 3.62 GPA, figures that reflect the program’s dual commitment to sport and scholarship.
