Cascade Christian School celebrated a sweep of the All‑Southern Oregon Conference baseball awards, with sophomore Blake Patereau earning the league’s Player of the Year honor and senior Grady Sickler being crowned Pitcher of the Year. Their coach, Kevin Shafer, was also recognized as the conference’s Coach of the Year, underscoring the program’s dominance this season.
Conference Honors Recognize Standout Performances
The first‑team selections spanned every key position, highlighting a depth of talent across the league. Pitchers Grady Sickler, Andrew Greer, Kollin Tacchini and Andy Alvarez joined Patereau on the first team, while catchers Wyatt Ferrell and R.J. Hendrix earned the same distinction. First‑team infielders included Tucker Delay, Dustin Morton and Wyatt Hurley, and the outfield roster featured Owen Austin, Hayden Taylor, Seth Scaglione and Sean Murray. Utility players Andy Alvarez and Clay Brazier rounded out the first‑team lineup.
Second‑team honors were bestowed upon pitchers Ezra Hulet and Bronson Campuzano, with Tucker Mayben securing the catcher slot. Justin Brunolli was selected at first base, and the second‑team infield comprised Bryson Walker and Sammy Brouillard. Outfielder Eli Cook and utility players Lincoln Rosenberg and Andrew Greer also made the second team. Honorable mentions went to Lyric Anderton and Rylan Homan at catcher, while Kaiden Richardson earned a nod as an outfielder.
