Casey’s deepens Texas football ties with Dave Campbell’s partnership and expansion push

The convenience store chain launches awards, community events and a multi‑year plan to open hundreds of new stores across the state.

A community‑focused partnership

Casey's is teaming up with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football to weave the brand deeper into the fabric of Texas high school football. The alliance will spotlight top teams and standout student‑athletes through weekly awards, while also delivering game‑day experiences and celebrations that bring schools and fans together.

The program will feature a 'Team of the Week' and a 'Student‑Athlete of the Week' honor during the 2026 season, giving local programs a platform to showcase their achievements. Recent moments, such as serving Breakfast Pizza to a team after a midnight practice in Marble Falls, illustrate the hands‑on approach the company is taking to celebrate the sport.

Expanding the footprint

Beyond the awards, Casey's is charting an aggressive growth strategy that includes opening at least 400 new stores in Texas over the next three years. The rollout will blend single‑store openings, smaller multi‑unit deals and new construction, building on the recent acquisition of Fikes Wholesale, which added 148 locations to the network.

Steph Hoppe, vice president of omnichannel marketing at Casey's, emphasized the company's commitment to community involvement and the traditions that make Texas football unique. "Our partnership with Dave Campbell’s aligns with our mission to support the communities we serve and to celebrate the athletes who inspire them," she said.
