Casuals Soccer Pub Brings World Cup Fever to Green Bay

The city’s only dedicated soccer bar is expanding its hours, menu and outdoor space for the U.S. team’s opening match against Paraguay.

Casuals Soccer Pub, Green Bay’s sole venue devoted to soccer, is turning its doors into a World Cup hub, offering watch parties that draw fans from every corner of the sport.

Co‑owner Cody Johnsen‑Duquaine says the gatherings are as much about community as competition, noting that the bar’s atmosphere lets supporters make new friends while cheering on their teams.

Co‑owner Joe Phillips adds that the venue deliberately welcomes a diverse crowd, from die‑hard internationals to casual viewers, creating a space where different fan cultures intersect.

To accommodate the influx, Casuals has installed shaded outdoor seating and broadened its drink list, featuring imported beers and a cocktail series that includes the eye‑catching Yellow Card.

The menu now also serves soft drinks, mocktails and door‑prize giveaways, ensuring that families and younger fans can enjoy the action in a kid‑friendly setting.

Match Day Plans

The excitement peaks on Friday when the U.S. men’s national team opens its group stage against Paraguay at 8 p.m.; Casuals will open its doors at 1 p.m. to serve the early crowd.

Fans can expect a lively environment with multiple screens, themed décor and special promotions that reward early arrivals with merchandise and exclusive offers.
