Catherine Rosser arrives in Durham with a résumé that reads like a highlight reel of elite competition. As a senior at a Houston high school, she captained her team to a Southwest Preparatory Conference 4A title and earned All‑America recognition while being ranked among the nation’s top‑50 prospects in the Max Field Hockey Class of 2026.
Her international résumé is equally impressive. Rosser earned a spot on the U‑18 National Team in both 2025 and 2026, represented the United States at the AAU U‑16 Junior Olympic Games in 2022 and 2023, and competed in multiple Junior NEXUS and Senior NEXUS National Championship events, culminating in a appearance at the Senior NEXUS National Championship earlier this year.
Beyond the pitch, she distinguished herself academically, landing on the four‑time academic honor roll and preparing to balance rigorous coursework with Division I athletics. Club experience with Texas Pride, where she helped the squad to multiple top‑three finishes, further honed her defensive instincts and leadership qualities.
