Cedarville's Men's Soccer Program Makes History
Cedarville University's men's soccer squad has been placed No. 21 in the 2026 United Soccer Coaches Division II preseason national poll, a milestone that reflects the program's rapid rise.
Under head coach Brett Faro, who is entering his 14th season, the Yellow Jackets posted a historic unbeaten regular season, finishing 12‑2‑7 and reaching the second round of the NCAA Division II championship.
The team will begin the 2026 campaign on August 27 with a home match against Indianapolis, a test that could gauge the squad's ability to translate preseason optimism into results.
Cedarville shares the preseason poll with only one other Great Midwest Athletic Conference member, Tiffin, which is ranked No. 25, highlighting the conference's growing competitiveness.
