Chase Fuller, a junior shortstop and pitcher at Lincoln High School in Florida, has been awarded the 2026 Jackie Robinson Award, an honor that celebrates not only athletic excellence but also outstanding character, leadership and community involvement.

During the 2025 campaign Fuller guided his team to a state championship, showcasing a blend of offensive consistency and pitching dominance. At the plate he posted a .327 average, reached base at a .514 clip and slugged .465, while on the mound he posted a 1.75 ERA with eight saves and 19 strikeouts in just 16 1/3 innings.
Draft prospects brighten
The numbers have not gone unnoticed. Baseball America has labeled Fuller a five‑star prospect, ranking him No. 3 overall in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 2 among high school shortstops. Analysts project him as a top selection in the 2027 MLB Draft, citing his .514 on‑base percentage and a combination of power and precision that few peers can match.
