A new chapter for NASCAR on screen
Chase Stokes, best known for his role in the Netflix hit Outer Banks, is set to headline the upcoming NASCAR drama Thunder Road, which will debut in 2027.
The series centers on the Whitlock family, a dynasty that has shaped the sport for generations. Dennis Quaid will portray racing legend Duane Whitlock, while Stokes takes on the role of his son Ronnie Whitlock, a rebellious driver battling a troubled past.
Stokes will also return to the world of Outer Banks for its final season, giving fans a double dose of his talents as he balances a high‑speed racing storyline with the coastal mystery that made him a star.
