The Chattanooga Mocs are slated to take on the Eastern Kentucky Colonels this Saturday at 6 p.m. in Richmond, with the game streamed live on ESPN+.
Coach Rusty Wright opened the weekly press conference this week, followed by junior center Devin Lively and defensive tackle Montrell Henderson, as the program’s offensive and defensive units have been generating headlines.
Lively’s unit has posted back‑to‑back 100‑yard rushing performances, the latest delivering 190 total yards with Journey Wyche contributing 113, a feat that mirrors Kevin Lalin’s 128‑yard effort at West Georgia and marks the first consecutive 100‑yard games for the Mocs since 2006.
On defense, Montrell Henderson’s squad remains among the nation’s elite, ranking sixth in rushing defense at 57.0 yards per game and sixth in total defense at 228.0 yards per game.
The program’s tradition of Tuesday press conferences, covered by Times Free Press, Channels 3, 9 & 12, WUTC radio and other broadcasters, underscores the media interest surrounding the team as it looks to build momentum ahead of the weekend contest.
Fans can secure tickets and season passes through the BSN Team Store, explore basketball event tickets, and purchase merchandise via the True Spirit Stop, while the Mocs’ social media platforms and NIL opportunities keep the community engaged beyond the field.
