The University of Chattanooga announced that the Mocs men’s basketball team has locked in its roster for the 2026‑27 campaign, confirming a total of eleven new faces that will join the program alongside six returning veterans.
Among the newcomers, international talent shines, with Australia’s Kobe McDowell‑White leading the way after being crowned the 2026 NBL1 North Youth Player of the Year, while France’s Yssam Moungalla arrives after a 15.9‑point per game average for AS Monaco U21.
Coach Dan Earl highlighted the blend of experience and potential, noting that returning guard Zach Bleshoy and forward Josh Bowman bring proven leadership, and that veterans such as Matt Hampton, Anthony Swift and Tre Powell will anchor the squad.
The coaching staff also welcomed standout performers like Tate Darner, who set a new UTC freshman record with 53 three‑pointers, and Lenny Anigbata, whose defensive versatility adds depth, while Houston Holland impressed with career‑high scoring bursts in recent games.
Additional signees include Caleb Hardaway, Christian Matos, Sean Cusano, Liam Vitters, Yonatan Levy, John Fleeman and Tyler Houser, each bringing distinct skills that the staff believes will diversify the offensive and defensive schemes.
