The Charlotte Checkers have released their 2026‑27 promotional schedule, promising a season packed with themed nights, community initiatives and affordable fan experiences.
Opening night will take place on October 16 at the Coliseum, where fans can snag a limited‑edition magnet calendar courtesy of Novant Health and enjoy special pricing for the first game of the year.
Specialty Jerseys and Auctions
Six dates will see the team wear unique jerseys, including Charlotte Chess Night on Nov. 27, Racing Night on Dec. 19, Pink In The Rink on Jan. 16, Affiliate Weekend on Feb. 5‑6, Bojangles Night on March 6 and BBQ Night on April 3. Each jersey night features an online auction of the game‑worn sweaters, giving supporters a chance to own a piece of the action.
Community‑driven events such as Hockey Fights Cancer on Nov. 7 and the Teddy Bear Toss on Nov. 28 will blend competition with charitable giving, while the inaugural School Day Game on Dec. 8 will welcome students and educators for a daytime showdown.
New Themes and Budget‑Friendly Deals
The schedule introduces fresh concepts like K‑Pop Night on Jan. 31 and Aviation Night on Jan. 17, alongside returning fan favorites such as Oktoberfest, Military Appreciation Night and Pooch Party. Budget‑conscious supporters can also take advantage of Family Games, College Nights, Teacher Appreciation Nights and Winning Wednesday, which offers $2 draft beers and a free ticket to the following Wednesday game when the Checkers win.
Individual tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on September 9, giving the public the first opportunity to secure seats for the upcoming season.
