California Swing
The Chippewa women's field hockey program is set to kick off the 2026 season with a three‑game road trip across California, a schedule that blends early‑season testing with high‑profile opponents.
Head coach Kelly Terwilliger will lead the team through the swing, bringing her experience and tactical vision to a roster eager to make an early statement.
The first contest arrives on August 28, when Chippewa travels to face UC Davis in a rematch that marks the ninth meeting in program history. The game is slated for 4 p.m. Eastern Time, or 1 p.m. Pacific Time, and will be streamed live on the UC Aggies YouTube channel.
Two days later, the squad heads to Berkeley to meet the California Golden Bears. This will be the fourth all‑time encounter between the programs, with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern (1 p.m. Pacific). Coverage will be provided via ACCNX on ESPN+.
The final leg of the trip takes the team to Stanford on August 31, where they will play at Stanford Stadium. The match is set for 3 p.m. Eastern (12 p.m. Pacific) and will also be streamed through ACCNX on ESPN+.
All three games will be accessible to fans worldwide through the designated streaming platforms, ensuring that the Chippewa community can follow the action in real time regardless of location.
