Chris Hole Steps Down After 15 Years of Baseball Excellence at Gov. Mifflin

The veteran coach leaves a legacy of championships and community impact.

Chris Hole, who has guided the Gov. Mifflin High School baseball program for fifteen seasons, confirmed his resignation this week, ending a tenure that reshaped the program’s identity and set new standards of achievement.

Under his leadership the team captured its inaugural PIAA championship, compiled a record of 233 victories, and secured five BCIAA titles, while also delivering the school’s first District 3 championship in fifteen years.

A Personal Decision

Hole explained that the move is driven by a desire to devote more time to his family, marking the end of a chapter that began when he first arrived at the school in the year 2000.

John Guiseppe, the district’s director of athletics, will now lead the effort to identify a successor, ensuring that the program’s momentum and culture continue to thrive.
