A New Chapter for Moss
Christian Moss, a senior wide receiver for the Washington Huskies, will wear the No. 5 jersey this fall, the same number he sported during his high school days at North Cobb High School in Georgia. The familiar numeral serves as a symbolic link between his past achievements and his current ambitions.
Moss began his collegiate career at Virginia Tech, where he showed promise before a series of injuries forced him to transfer to Kennesaw State. After missing the entire 2023 season due to a hamstring injury and sitting out most of the spring practices, he has been working diligently to regain full health.
During the 2023 campaign in Conference USA, Moss finished fourth in the league with 689 receiving yards and ranked tenth with 45 receptions. He scored two touchdowns, both coming in road victories, underscoring his ability to perform under pressure.
Entering fall camp, Moss is slated to compete for the starting X receiver position. Coaches such as Justin Fuente and Jedd Fisch have praised his work ethic and potential to contribute immediately, noting that his experience could be vital as the team looks to offset the departure of Denzel Boston.
