Christos FC is set to host three of its 2026 USL2 home fixtures at the iconic Under Armour Stadium this June, marking a strategic shift that brings the club’s growing fan base into the heart of Baltimore’s downtown.
The matches, scheduled for June 3, 10 and 17, will feature a young roster primarily composed of college and high‑school players from the region, reflecting the club’s ongoing rebuild under General Manager Tarik Walker.
A Legacy Re‑imagined
Founded in 1997 by the Haislip brothers, Christos FC has a storied history that includes national championships, participation in the U.S. Open Cup and a pipeline that has produced MLS talent such as Ben Bender, Jonathan Bell and Taylor Calheira.
Coach Mike St. Martin, who also leads the varsity soccer program at Mount Saint Joseph High School, emphasizes development while leveraging a player pool of more than 50 athletes to field competitive sides across the Open, Over‑30, Over‑40 and Over‑50 divisions.
Game days at Under Armour Stadium are enhanced by pre‑match tailgates, food trucks and a public‑address announcer, creating a festive atmosphere that draws supporters from across the city.
Tickets are priced at $15 for general admission, with free entry for children wearing soccer jerseys, a policy that encourages families to experience the sport live.
Walker notes that playing at Under Armour Stadium strengthens the club’s connection to Baltimore City, attracting fans from downtown neighborhoods and reinforcing the team’s role as a community hub.
Beyond the senior side, Christos FC operates a USL Academy training program and a summer youth league, while its sponsorship with Christos Discount Liquors in Glen Burnie — an unofficial trophy room — continues a partnership that spans nearly three decades.
The upcoming fixtures also serve as a showcase for United Soccer League Two, the third tier of professional soccer in the United States, highlighting the league’s role in developing emerging talent.
