The commitment adds depth to a defense that has been seeking additional talent at the second level, and it marks the latest addition to FSU's 2027 recruiting class.
Ranked No. 74 among linebackers in the 2027 class by Rivals, Ohuabunwa recorded 117 tackles last season, a performance that helped him attract attention from several programs.
His decision brings the Seminoles' verbal commitments to 12, pushing the class from No. 57 to No. 56 in the national rankings.
The recruitment also resonates with former Seminoles linebacker Ernie Sims, analyst Jernard Albright and talent evaluator Olrick Johnson III, who have long followed the program's trajectory.
