The Clark Soccer Club is set to bring back its popular summer camp this July, turning the evenings at Bartel Field into a hub of skill‑building and fun for youngsters across the region.
The camp runs from July 20 through July 23, each night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and is open to boys and girls who are at least eight years old.
Families can expect a structured curriculum that covers ball mastery, first touch, speed and agility, shooting, finishing, dribbling, possession play, and even basic goalkeeping techniques.
What the Camp Offers
Participants will receive a complimentary camp T‑shirt, and goalkeepers are asked to bring their own gloves while all campers should come equipped with a soccer ball, water, and shin guards.
The registration fee is $155 per player, though an early‑bird rate of $140 is available for those who sign up before April 1.
Space on the field is limited, ensuring each youngster gets ample attention from the coaches and a chance to practice the drills that will sharpen their game.
A Coaching Lineup That Stands Out
Adding star power to the program, former professional player Gabby Cuevas — who now plays for Monmouth University — and RJ Allen, a veteran of Major League Soccer, will make guest appearances throughout the camp.
Both guests are expected to sign autographs and present prizes, giving campers a memorable experience that extends beyond technical training.
Getting Ready to Play
Organizers emphasize that proper gear is essential: a soccer ball, water bottle, shin guards, and for goalkeepers, a pair of gloves. With these items in hand, young players can focus on the drills and enjoy the full camp experience.
Registration can be completed online, and interested families are encouraged to secure their spot early to take advantage of the discounted rate and guarantee a place in the limited‑capacity session.
