Clemson University has unveiled the 2027 baseball roster, a class of 19 newcomers that blends high school graduates, junior college transfers and NCAA transfers. The announcement marks a significant infusion of talent ahead of the upcoming season.
Among the most highly regarded additions are Troy Sudbrook, a transfer from Toledo, who was ranked the No. 2 overall transfer and the top third‑baseman prospect in the country by D1Baseball, and Jamie Daly, a Davidson transfer positioned as the No. 3 center‑fielder transfer nationally.
The class also includes Isaac Cadena, a Southern California transfer who earned the No. 6 rating among catcher prospects and was listed at No. 45 among all transfer hitters. Four freshmen — Ethan Offing, Chase Kiker, Louis Hernandez Jr. and Jaxon Matthews — cracked the top‑150 freshmen rankings released by D1Baseball.
Three of those freshmen — Kiker, Hernandez Jr. and Offing — also appeared on Perfect Game’s top‑500 prospects for the 2026 MLB draft, with Offing already drafted in the 18th round by the Boston Red Sox.
Fall Training Begins September 18
