A Strategic Reinforcement
Clemson’s athletics department revealed that the men’s basketball program has secured four graduate transfers for the upcoming 2026‑27 campaign, a move designed to inject immediate experience and depth into a squad looking to rebound from a challenging previous season.
Cole Certa arrives after two seasons at Notre Dame, where he averaged 12.8 points per game and earned ACC Most Improved Player votes, while Dylan Faulkner brings a combined 515 points and 257 rebounds from his final year at Samford and Lipscomb. Liutauras Lelevicius is recognized for his elite three‑point shooting, having posted a career‑best 38.0 percent from beyond the arc, and David Fuchs, the 2025‑26 WCC Newcomer of the Year, averaged 12.7 points and 7.8 rebounds while at San Francisco.
Coach’s Vision
Head Coach Brad Brownell emphasized that each newcomer possesses a skill set that aligns with the program’s ambitions, noting that their collective achievements in scoring, rebounding and shooting provide a solid foundation for the team’s competitive goals.
The additions also create intriguing positional versatility, allowing the coaching staff to experiment with lineups that can stretch defenses and control the boards more effectively. With a blend of proven collegiate performance and fresh energy, the Tigers hope to translate these strengths into a more consistent presence in the ACC.
