Clemson Tigers have finally released the first official depth chart for the 2026 season, a milestone that arrives just days after a crushing 51‑10 loss to No. 11 LSU in the season opener.
The defeat marked coach Clay Swinney’s worst loss by scoring margin in 241 games, underscoring the urgency for the program to reassess its roster construction as it heads into the new campaign.
The Tigers will host Georgia Southern in their home opener on Saturday at Memorial Stadium, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. and broadcast on the ACC Network.
Offensive Depth Chart
Quarterback Christopher Vizzina is slated to start, while running back Gideon Davidson and wide receivers Bryant Wesco Jr. and T.J. Moore will anchor the skill positions, and the offensive line features left tackle Brayden Jacobs and left guard Elyjah Thurmon as the starting unit.
Defensive Depth Chart
On defense, Will Heldt and Jahiem Lawson will man the defensive end spots, Andy Burburija and Amare Adams will occupy the tackle positions, linebacker Sammy Brown will lead the corps, and cornerbacks Elliot Washington II and Ashton Hampton will handle the secondary, with special teams specialists Nolan Hauser and Jack Smith listed for kickoff and punt duties.
Key figures highlighted in the chart include Gideon Davidson, Bryant Wesco Jr., and head coach Clay Swinney, whose leadership will be pivotal as the team seeks to rebound from the early setback.
