The Basketball Tournament will showcase a refreshed Boeheim’s Army this summer, led by the return of former Syracuse standout Cole Swider. The alumni squad is set to open its campaign against Seton Hall’s former players in a best‑of‑three series that promises high‑stakes basketball and national exposure.
A Summer Reunion on the Court
Swider’s college career took a pivotal turn when he transferred to Syracuse for his senior season after three years at Villanova. In that final year he posted 13.9 points per game and shot 41.1 percent from beyond the arc, establishing himself as one of the most reliable shooters in the program’s recent history.
Professionally, Swider has navigated NBA stints with the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors, before spending the 2025‑26 season with Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes. His experience across multiple systems equips him to contribute immediately to Boeheim’s Army.
The roster also welcomes back Eric Devendorf, Jimmy Boeheim, Wesley Johnson, Elijah Hughes and Buddy Boeheim, creating a veteran‑laden lineup that blends shooting, defense and playoff pedigree.
The series against Hall In begins on July 21 at Walsh Gymnasium in South Orange, New Jersey, where the first game will be played. Game two moves to Syracuse’s Upstate Medical Arena at the Oncenter War Memorial on July 23, and a decisive third game, if needed, will follow on July 24 in the same city.
All matchups will be broadcast live on FS1 and FS2, giving fans nationwide access to the action. Tickets for the games are available through TBTHoops.com, where supporters can secure seats for what promises to be an electrifying summer showdown.
