EA Sports has pulled the fastest of those tiers, a move that follows criticism of last year’s accelerated progression curve.
Alongside the speed‑setting overhaul, the update strips away microtransactions that previously governed player and coach advancement. The shift comes after a wave of fan backlash that demanded a more transparent, merit‑based path to success.
Real‑World Touches and Future Tweaks
The new Dynasty Blueprint is meant to mirror the rhythms of actual college football, incorporating elements such as name, image and likeness (NIL) payments for recruits and budgets that shape coaching staff composition. Certain coach abilities now grant modest XP boosts or reduce the cost of unlocking fresh traits, adding a strategic layer without resorting to pay‑to‑win mechanics.
EA Sports has promised another patch next week that will continue to refine the experience, promising further adjustments to sliders and other gameplay knobs. The game is currently playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store and the EA app, with the Standard Edition priced at $69.99, the Deluxe Edition at $99.99 and the MVP Bundle at $149.99.
