Front Range Christian's surprise win highlights a competitive regional round

The Colorado High School Activities Association concluded its 2A Baseball State Tournament regional round on Saturday, sending a slate of teams to the upcoming double‑elimination state championships.

Six of the seven seeded clubs secured advancement, but the bracket also delivered a surprise as the No. 20 Front Range Christian squad upset both No. 13 Crowley County and No. 4 Estes Park to move forward.

Road to the State Championships

Other regional victors included Forge Christian, Monte Vista, Yuma, Denver Christian, Dayspring Christian Academy, Limon and Peyton, each navigating a pair of matchups to earn their spots.

The winners will now compete over the next two weekends in the state tournament, where the stakes will be higher and the competition fiercer as the remaining teams battle for the ultimate title.
