A nostalgic showdown returns to Magness Arena
The University of Denver will once again open the doors of Magness Arena for the Colorado Alumni Faceoff, scheduled for August 23, 2026. The second edition of the charity hockey showdown brings together former DU Pioneers and alumni from the Colorado Avalanche, promising a night of high‑octane play and community giving.
All proceeds from ticket sales are earmarked for youth hockey programs across Colorado, scholarships for aspiring student‑athletes, and mental‑health initiatives that support local families.
