Camp Schedule and On‑Ice Sessions
All three days feature a substantial on‑ice component, with the first two days offering sessions from 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the final day shifting to a 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. window.
The camp is designed to give prospects a close look at the organization’s systems and culture, while also providing the coaching staff with an extended evaluation period.
Although the Avalanche do not hold a first‑round pick in this year’s draft, the event will likely feature several players who have been selected in the upcoming NHL draft, particularly those chosen on the second day of the draft, which begins on Friday.
General manager Jeff Gorton emphasized that the camp serves as a crucial stepping stone for young talent looking to earn a professional contract, noting that the team will make nine selections on the second day, starting with the third round.
Beyond the on‑ice work, participants will engage in off‑ice conditioning, video analysis, and meetings with staff, creating a comprehensive developmental experience that mirrors the professional environment.
