A Strong Start to the 2026 Season

Cassie Villanueva equalized for the Titans after a penalty was awarded following a tackle by Jamie Campbell, before Ruby Hayward restored the lead with a striking set‑piece in the 27th minute.
Reagan Kotschau capped the scoring in the 52nd minute, extending the lead to 3-1, while Brooke Goerish’s three second‑half saves, including a crucial stop in the 79th minute, preserved the narrow margin.
Colorado dominated possession and shot volume, finishing with 15 attempts and an 8‑3 corner‑kick advantage while limiting the Titans to just four shots on goal.
Head coach Danny Sanchez praised the team’s growth mindset, noting the depth of talent and the expectation to keep winning as the schedule progresses.
The Buffaloes will next travel to face Western Michigan on August 27 at 2 p.m., marking their first road test of the season and a chance to extend their unbeaten streak on the road.
