A Recruiting Surge in Boulder
Colorado Buffaloes have secured a commitment from four‑star wide receiver Jaiden Kelly‑Murray, a recruit who chose the university over Illinois, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
The pledge marks the sixth verbal agreement for Colorado in the past week, pushing the total number of pledges in the 2027 class to nine. Rivals and 247Sports have published composite rankings that place him at No. 193 overall and No. 30 among receivers, while the 247Sports Composite lists him at No. 302 overall and No. 38 at his position.
Kelly‑Murray said that a conversation with fellow commit Andre Adams helped seal his decision, and he moved up his announcement after an official visit scheduled for June 19. During the live broadcast he also named Texas wide receiver Brody Knowles as a player he hopes will eventually join him in Boulder.
Coach Deion Sanders, who has been guiding the Buffaloes’ recruiting efforts, was mentioned during the commitment announcement.
With Kelly‑Murray’s decision, Colorado’s 2027 class now sits at No. 35 nationally and fourth in the Big 12, a rise that underscores the program’s growing appeal on the recruiting trail.
