Colorado College has once again topped the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference’s Winter Honor Roll, posting a 96% success rate among its student‑athletes. The conference recognized 64 Tigers for their academic excellence, a figure that underscores the school’s dual commitment to athletic competition and scholarly achievement.
The honor roll includes every member of the women’s and men’s swimming and diving teams, who achieved perfect scores across the board. Their perfect performances highlight a seamless integration of rigorous training schedules with top‑tier classroom performance.
Among the honorees, recent graduates Asher Nofziger and Megan Simonson, along with rising senior Kole Petersen, earned the prestigious SCAC Elite 19 Award. The award, given to athletes who maintain a GPA of at least 3.25 and earn all‑conference honors, celebrates both academic and athletic distinction.
A Record of Excellence
Colorado College’s lead over rival University of the Ozarks grew to 24 additional recipients, while Hendrix College followed in third with 33 honorees. Since the inception of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll in 1997, more than 38,800 student‑athletes have been celebrated, and 272 Tigers have earned the distinction for four consecutive years.
The latest cohort reinforces the college’s reputation as a model for balancing competitive athletics with academic rigor, setting a benchmark for peers across the conference.
