Regional Host Sites and Seeding Overview
The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has released the 2026 baseball regional brackets, setting the stage for a statewide postseason that begins next week. The draw not only confirms which teams will open the tournament but also determines where each series will be played, giving home‑field advantage to the higher‑seeded programs.
In Class 4A, Palisade High School earned the No. 1 overall seed and will host Region 1, opening its campaign against No. 32 Adams City. The team’s top ranking reflects a dominant regular season and raises expectations for a deep run.
Grand Junction High School, seeded No. 5 in the same classification, will host Region 5 at Suplizio Field. The Central and Montrose squads will travel to the Front Range for their opening games, while Delta High School, the No. 7 seed in Class 3A, will host a four‑team pod in Region 7, adding a compact but intense format to the early rounds.
Coal Ridge High School, placed No. 10 in Class 3A, will meet Lamar in the first round, while Fruita Monument, the No. 16 seed in Class 5A, travels to Arvada West to face Douglas County. Aspen, seeded No. 4 in Class 3A, will host Region 4, giving the Aspen community a chance to showcase its program at home.
Lower classifications feature a slate of road trips. Teams such as North Fork, Cedaredge, Olathe and Meeker will journey to their respective regional sites, and Nucla, the No. 5 seed in Class 1A, will head to Simla for its pod. The variety of matchups promises competitive games across the state.
What’s Next for the Brackets
