In Class 4A, Roosevelt (21‑2) enters as the ninth seed and will meet No. 24 Dakota Ridge (14‑9), while Severance (18‑5), the 18th seed, draws No. 15 Ponderosa (14‑9).
Windsor’s campaign was cut short after the association disqualified the team for using an ineligible player, removing them from the 4A bracket.
Class 3A features University (21‑2) as the top seed, slated to host No. 32 Lincoln (16‑6), with Eaton (19‑3) positioned second and scheduled to face No. 31 Manitou Springs (7‑14).
Other notable pairings include Valley (9‑14) taking on No. 7 Delta (15‑8), Dayspring Christian (14‑5) hosting No. 27 Byers (9‑14), and Platte Valley (8‑15) meeting No. 10 Wray (17‑6).
Highland (9‑14) will square off against No. 8 Las Animas (17‑6), while the 1A tournament kicked off this past weekend, already seeing Prairie eliminated in its opening round.
