The Colorado Rapids have joined forces with the Downtown Denver Partnership, Street Soccer USA, FOX31 and Telemundo Colorado to roll out an expanded slate of live FIFA World Cup 2026™ match viewings and fan‑engagement activities across the city. The initiative, branded as the Soccer Celebration at Skyline Park, aims to turn the park into a dynamic hub for supporters during the tournament.
A Festival of Soccer in Downtown Denver
Skyline Park’s Block 1 at Visa Street Soccer Park and the adjacent Bank of America Fields will be transformed into a sprawling soccer oasis. The space will host free, public broadcasts of every World Cup match, while surrounding areas will showcase local vendors, live music, and a rotating schedule of fan activations.
FOX31 and Telemundo Colorado will deliver comprehensive tournament coverage, with the latter providing the official Spanish‑language feed beginning June 11. Their on‑air talent will be complemented by Rapids‑affiliated analysts, ensuring a rich mix of English and Spanish perspectives for viewers.
Beyond the screens, the celebration will feature culinary treats from neighborhood favorites such as La Unica, Biker Jim’s, 47 Bakery and Firestone Walker, alongside exclusive Rapids retail tents offering merchandise, giveaways and player appearances. Digital sweepstakes, youth soccer clinics, and cultural performances will further enrich the experience.
UCHealth will operate health stations and interactive games, while Street Soccer USA Denver will run clinics and a civic‑engagement speaker series. EA SPORTS will also provide playable consoles, letting fans test the latest soccer video‑game releases.
Organizers emphasize a safe, seamless environment for all attendees and encourage fans to download the official Colorado Rapids mobile app for real‑time updates, schedule changes and exclusive content.
